When you can grow your own lettuce…

My daughter, Amy, decided to see if she could have a green thumb and grow some vegetables. As you can see, the lettuce is taking off. The carrots have died but the peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and potatoes are growing. Olivia loves to grab a piece or two and just eat it out of the bed. She gets yelled at especially when she shares it with the neighborhood kids. All is good. We had lasagna and a wonderful salad made fresh from the garden. Life is good when you see your effort pay off. Great job Amy!
