Tonight was a Mermaid’s Dream come true for Sophia. We headed to Point Breeze Beach in Angola, New York. Sophia and Olivia were excited to jump in the water. They always think they are at the ocean whenever water is near. Sophia had worn her mermaid crown and jewelry for the occasion. She couldn’t wait to get her flip flops off and head into the water. As a past Buffalonian, I can’t believe this is my first time putting my toes into Lake Erie! This experience reminded me of my childhood when I used to go to Sherkston beach in Canada. It was absolutely beautiful here and Sophia and Olivia loved it. Olivia danced in the water as the small waves hit her feet. We didn’t stay long because the sun was setting and we wanted to get something to eat at the Castaways Restaurant.
