My husband – he always encourages me to not to sweat the small stuff
My daughters – they work hard for their dreams and I see myself in each of them.
My son – knows what his ultimate goal is and is working towards it. Perseverance is contagious.
Laughter on my family’s faces – I love to see them smile.
Cooking with my granddaughters – I never liked to cook but now that they want to learn, it has given me excitement to pick a new recipe out and try it with them.
True friends – they are there through good and bad times.
A hard day’s work – seeing all that I have accomplished in one day makes me proud.
Rain – I love when it rains because it brings new life and a new look to things around me.
The ocean – it’s a place for me to feel at peace and time to share my thoughts with God and to enjoy seeing others loving the sand, the waves, and being together.
Sunflowers – they are bright, big, and bold.
Roses and bouquets of flowers – each one is so unique, just like all of us.
A bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils – this excites me because it makes my mind think of all kinds of projects and writings I can do.
People who dress up for church – I love to see all the details and know that they were excited to come and participate.
Wood workers – I love the smell of fresh cut lumber and enjoy the handiwork put into a piece.
Painting – I love to see my granddaughters paint – I love to see when they realize they can make colors from combining two different ones and I of course love to paint.
Fabric – when I see fabric it makes me want to create something.
Hydrangeas – a friend gave me one sprout from her garden, and I grew a beautiful garden on my front flower bed.
Movies – love all kinds and love to retreat and forget about the world while I enjoy my favorite past time.
Fashion – love to read fashion magazines and books – I love to see the creativity.
Well made bed to retreat into – anytime of the day.
People who have pursued their passions – they work at it but it doesn’t seem like work – it’s fun to them and that inspires me to find my true passions.
A walk in the woods – helps me appreciate God’s handiwork.
Music artist who stay true to who they are – no matter what is popular.
Photographs that my husband has taken.
Reading – I love to read about how women have succeeded in creating their own company’s.
Weddings – I love to witness the magic of the love.
Newborn babies – I love the newness and innocence, the freshness and the joy of witnessing them grow.
Conversations – I love to discuss where everyone met their spouse or significant others. I love to hear military stories and how families survived being in the military.
My wonderful daughter gifted me this blog experience for Mother’s Day in 2021. I am so excited to share my experiences and document all my times shared with family and friends and to share with others the joy of being a Nonna Donna to two wonderful grandbabies and 3 beautiful children. Oh, can’t forget the wonderful husband too, he will crack you up!
