We took the girls to Dutch Wonderland because our passes were about to expire. It turned out to be the best trip ever. We rode rides that we hadn’t before. We tried out the sky ride – scary as heck. It was scary being high above everything – especially when we could practically touch the trees. I had flashbacks to how frightened I was on the aerial ride at Massanutten – Olivia loved it and smiled the whole time and kept pointing out rides we had to go on when we ended this one.
My favorite ride that we all enjoyed was the Tilt-a-whirl – but this time it was the turtle -a-whirl. Olivia was afraid at first but then when I started laughing the whole time and couldn’t stop, the biggest smile and giggles came from Olivia and Sophia. As we were whipped around and around, we laughed so hard our bellies hurt.
Can’t forget our little daredevil, Sophia – she went with her mother on Merlin’s Revenge rollercoaster – I thought she would never go on it — see attached video for her comments about the ride!
